We will be following the state and local guidelines to ensure the safety of both our members and staff. Here’s what you can expect:
Signage and Screening
Covid-19 “best practices” signage is visible throughout the studio. Out of consideration for our Pursue and Jackson Hole community, before attending class, please consider your health, the health of your household and co-workers, your travels, etc. If you have experienced any fever, cough, have been traveling, etc in the recent 2 weeks, please give yourself a full 2 weeks of self-quarantine, before coming to Pursue. Upon entering and exiting the studio, please sanitize your hands by using hand sanitizer, washing them in the sink, or thoroughly wiping them with the provided Zogics wipes.
Our goal will be to limit any touchpoints or potential for exposure from the moment of entry, during class, and upon exiting the building. Pursue has a strict policy of users wiping down all equipment before and after use even prior to Covid-19 so we will expect that same diligence upon our re-opening. We provide Zogics antibacterial wipes (for more information, visit here) in each classroom, bathroom, hallway, and entry/exit point. We also provide hospital-grade hand sanitizer (90% alcohol) and Lysol throughout the entire space. While only Open Gym is running, each user will be responsible for carefully sanitizing all equipment used during the personal workout session. Once classes resume, our members and staff will thoroughly disinfect equipment and any and all touch points including door knobs, and in bathrooms (light switches, toilet handles, faucets, etc). We also have a professional cleaning service that will perform a thorough deep clean of the space nightly.
This is a complicated guideline for the fitness and wellness industry; it affects a person’s ability to breath freely and properly exchange CO2 for O2. Both you and your instructor may choose whether or not to wear a face covering during class, but please have one with you in the studio.
Each room has its own door for entering and exiting. While only Open Gym is running, please access Pursue by using your keyless entry. Once classes resume, all members will enter and exit through the appropriate class door to limit exposure to others; individuals attending megaformer will use the megaformer room door that exits to the back alley, condition class attendees will access class through the back doors, and the yoga/barre room will be accessible through the front door.
Class Scheduling & Capacity
Our 50 minute classes typically run “on the hour,” allowing for 10 minutes in between classes. We will add an additional 10 minutes between each class (20 minutes total) to allow for our Pursue staff to disinfect equipment and properly air out each room at the completion of one class and before allowing entry into the building for the next class.
Megaformer Classes – Capacity 6
Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before the start and end of each class using hospital-grade disinfectant.
Condition Classes – Capacity 6
For the first two weeks, each student will be assigned their own equipment for the duration of the class – there will be no sharing of mats, weights, bands, or any other equipment or props for the duration of the class. Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before the start and end of each class using hospital-grade disinfectant. After the first two weeks of classes, and following healthy and safety guidelines, teachers may decide to change the class format and do more circuit work employing the sharing of equipment.
Yoga/Barre – Capacity 6
Students will be assigned their equipment and individual “spot” in the room at the beginning of class to avoid any extra touch points. Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before the start and end of each class using hospital-grade disinfectant.
Students will be assigned their bike and weights prior to class to avoid any extra touch points. Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before the start and end of each class using hospital-grade disinfectant.
