Yoga Class Descriptions:

Hot 60 Yoga

This class is the answer for those craving heat during our long, cold, Jackson, WY winters.  Enjoy the traditional 26 postures plus 2 breath exercises at a temperature that allows pliability of the muscles without dehydrating. Using state-of-the-art infrared heat technology, which has been proven to increase flexibility and circulation, aid in detoxification, and assist in pain relief.

Heated Sculpt Yoga

Heated sculpt is a yoga-inspired, full body workout which incorporates a breath to movement sequence, challenging core set, a sculpting series that includes light resistance training with hand weights, high intensity cardio bursts for a maximum calorie burning effect, and an intentional cool down to enhance mobility. Expect to explore and invigorate every muscle in the body while improving your cardiovascular endurance, mental clarity and focus. The room is heated to 90 degrees using state-of-the-art infrared heat technology, which has been proven to increase flexibility and circulation, aid in detoxification, and assist in pain relief. Classes and music are diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy. 

Vinyasa-Breath to Movement Yoga

Based on traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa, Vinyasa-Breath to Movement incorporates postures, transitions, intuitive sequencing of sun salutations, and active stretching to emphasize balance, strength, length, and space in the body. This offering is designed to help you link breath to movement and feel challenged mentally and physically while also quieting the mind and recharging the body.  This class is offered as both a heated and a non-heated practice.  For the heated practice, the room is warmed to 85-90 degrees using state-of-the-art infrared heat technology to increase the pliability of the muscles  and safely allow exploration of the body, while also improving circulation and flushing out toxins. Classes and music are diverse and sequencing will vary with instructor philosophy.

Yin-Deep Stretch Yoga

Been hitting it too hard in the mountains or the gym in Jackson, WY? Yin-Deep Stretch is for you!  This class is known to first ease the body out of its fight/flight response, lets the bones settle, and decreases congestion in connective tissues such as ligaments, tendons and fascia and release areas of the body mainly in the back, hips, shoulders, and legs. Using variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, this practice indulges your body to release built up tension; great for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time at work. You can expect to leave class feeling rejuvenated, calm, and grounded in your body.


Set in a non-heated room, this class is designed to help set aside dedicated time to stretch. After a day or week of workouts and playing in the mountains, the body can feel exhausted, overworked, tight and tense. Pursue’s “stretch” class incorporates both stretching techniques that increase and enhance mobility and flexibility, as well as effective breathing strategies for both optimal athletic performance and opening and calming the body.  You will leave feeling restored and show up more whole to your next workout!  

Restorative Yoga

Set in a pleasantly warm 80-85-degree room, Restorative aims to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and promote deep relaxation through heavily supported, low-to-ground poses. Anticipate long holds with props for added support in each posture, during which you can work on quieting your mind, breath work, and healing. Each pose is intended to deepen into areas of tension and release stress from your body. This fortifying practice is gentle and suitable for all ages and experience levels.
